Scott Newlin is a Brooklyn-based designer, ceramicist, and design curator with over two decades of experience spanning global brand leadership, independent practice, and the cultural edges of the design world.

As a senior design executive, Scott has led design for globally recognized brands including Harry's and Herman Miller, building high-performing creative teams and translating design strategy into measurable business outcomes across CPG, consumer products, and packaging.

Scott founded Scott Newlin Design Studio, an independent practice blending industrial design with a deep respect for craft. His work balances precision engineering with handmade warmth, spanning mass-produced products to limited-edition collections. The studio has been featured across leading design publications, and Scott was named to the Wallpaper* USA 400 in 2025.

As a curator, he hosts design events and founded Italo Book Club, a curated selection of rare books on Italian modernism exhibited at galleries and design showrooms. His practice is guided by the belief that great design lives at the intersection of rigor, beauty, and the occasional willingness to break the rules.
