Harry’s and Good Thing, a manufacturer of modern home objects, collaboratively conceived an exhibition of uniquely designed badger brushes. A fairly traditional object, badger brushes were more commonly used in the past by men shaving with single edge razors, versus today's multi-blade razor systems and packaged shave gels. We sought to re-imagine this object and commissioned a group of 13 contemporary designers to add their insight. The final results ranged from formless hand-blow glass studies to highly-engineered multi-part systems. The objects were presented at New York Design Week.
Harry’s design is made of colored glass and high-density rubber.
