Stack Light is a modular lighting design that explores how simple forms can be reconfigured to create something personal and expressive. Made from slip-cast ceramic components, each piece stacks and locks into place, allowing the light to be adjusted in both height and color. The parts are finished with spray-glazed surfaces, giving each configuration a unique character.
Its clean, cylindrical forms are straightforward yet versatile, shifting in composition depending on how they’re arranged. The design strikes a balance between utility and play—fitting just as naturally into a quiet, minimalist space as it does in a bold, contemporary setting.
Drawing subtle inspiration from modernist floor lights by Carlo Scarpa and Ettore Sottsass, Stack Light feels both familiar and fresh. It first appeared at the JONALDDUDD exhibition during NYC Design Week 2025.
